S&E : SIDE EFFECTS OF WEARING FAKE LASHES

All Women and also some men want long, full and thick eyelashes.

This interesting fact is undeniable. Having beautiful eyelashes is important in order to have striking eyes. It is also one of the best ways to enhance beauty and become a lot more attractive.  Using fake lashes is by far the easiest and cheapest way to achieve this much-desired look.

The problem is that there are certain side effects of having fake lashes.

1) Allergic and Adverse Reactions

The fake lashes or other materials used to attach the lashes can cause adverse reactions to the skin and eyes. Even the slightest eye irritation can cause eye damage and can sometimes cause loss of sight. There are numerous cases wherein the adhesive used to attach the fake lashescaused allergic reactions that make the eyelids swell and cause redness of the eyes.

This is by far the most common among the side effects of having fake lashes. The solution to this setback is going to an experienced and highly regarded professional. A patch test is necessary in order to determine whether or not a person is allergic to the materials.

2) Hygiene Risk

According to experts, false eyelashes are a considerable hygiene risk because they tend to trap dirt and bacteria. These harmful particles usually cause irritation to the eyelids and eyes. Natural eyelashes protect the eyes from dust, foreign materials and sweat, while low-quality and unhygienic false eyelashes usually cause irritation and infection.

It is important therefore to consult a reputable professional or make use of high quality products. Reputable professionals usually implement high standards and carefully executed procedures that prevent irritation and infection. This is probably the most dangerous out all the side effects of having fake lashes as infection may result to blindness.

3) Damage to Natural Lashes

The improper attachment of fake lashes can damage the natural lashes. The extra pressure caused by the false lashes can also cause damage to the hair follicles, stopping eyelash growth temporarily or permanently.

The use of false lashes should only be limited to special occasions. It is also important to use only high quality false lashes from reputable companies and have it professionally attached.

This is Sensitize & Educate on the XPERIENCE.

See you next week.
